7R Ocean Concept was founded in February 2019 by two friends: Anna Mrzyglod and Kasia Bruzda. After several years of working in superyacht industry, Anna left SeaXplorer team at Damen Shipyards and Kasia said good bye to Feadship. They decided to open their own company, which combines their extensive experience in naval architecture, structural engineering and outfitting. Strong superyacht background makes the company client oriented and focused on the highest quality of work delivered.
Anna and Kasia are also experienced sailors, their practical sailing experience and theoretical knowledge become very valuable while dealing with sailing yachts.
To ensure that our work meets the client expectations, we are able to work at your location.
Anna graduated from Technical University of Gdansk with Master of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. In 2000, her passion for sailing lead her to Yacht Studio Strawinski and Sunreef Yachts – the biggest shipyard in Poland for semi-custom luxury yachts.
With a few years of professional experience, in 2005, she accepted unique opportunity to skipper the 28-foot sailing yacht in the round the world regatta. After almost 3 years of sailing she moved to the Netherlands and resumed her professional carrier as naval architect in Dutch superyacht industry, working for Vripack, Jaron Ginton, Azure Naval Architects and Damen Shipyard for the last 10 years.
She became specialist primary- in ships stability and passenger yacht code and secondary- in ship structure and outfitting. She worked for the most recognisable brands in super yacht industry: Oceanco, Lurssen, Feadship and Amels in the most innovative projects in the world.
In November 2018, together with her friend, Kasia Bruzda, they decided to establish 7R Ocean Concept.
In her free time Anna likes to row (rescue boat rowing in Sloeproeivereniging Haarlem), to sail Dutch inland waters on her own classic motor boat from 1949 and race on sailboats. Recently, together with Kasia and her family, she crossed the Atlantic from Canary Islands to Caribbean for the second time.
Kasia holds Masters degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Technical University of Gdansk. After graduation she gained vast experience in composite sailing yacht design, including technological startup of the production of Antila Yachts – one of the biggest sailing yachts producers in Poland and Central Europe. Together with Jacek Daszkiewicz she designed the biggest commercialy successful model to date.
In order to become great yacht designer you must sail, so with that idea Kasia decided to sail the oceans on various yachts. As her professional curiosity grew, she moved to the Netherlands to work for Feadship. Quickly, after she got familiar with superyacht business, she started to lead teams of engineers and manage the structural and outfitting part of projects. For 5 years she was responsible for structures of most renowned superyachts in the world. Wanting to explore more, she moved to theoretical shipbuilding department, where she joined the team as a naval architect. Parallel, with her knowledge of NX Siemens, as the KeyUser, she designed and built tools and software structure to introduce the program to the department and integrate it with other engineering programs already in use.
In November 2018, together with her friend, Anna Mrzyglod, they decided to establish 7R Ocean Concept.
In her free time she loves to travel, especially to discover new lands and cultures by sailing to the remote places. She sails oceans on her Moody 419, recently, together with her family and Anna, she crossed the Atlantic Ocean for the second time. She is a big paddle board fan and enjoys yoga on water. Whenever possible, she plays piano.
